Die vier Mäuse Fridolin, Maureen, Bonnie & Clyde sowie die drei Teddybären Ally, Sally und Nelly wurden während unseres Urlaubes am 26. September 2017 in Vallejo, Kalifornien, aus dem Leihwagen gestohlen. Sie befanden sich in einem grauen Puma Rucksack, den der Dieb vom Rücksitz geklaut hat, nachdem er die Scheibe zerstört hat. Es geschah auf einem Parkplatz des Restaurant Red Lobster, in der Admiral Callaghan Lane in Vallejo. Wie wir später herausgefunden haben, stehen Autoeinbrüche auf dem gesamten Gebiet des Gateway Plaza dort auf der Tagesordnung. In Vallejo befindet sich der Six Flags  Freizeitpark „Discovery Kingdom“, weshalb sich dort natürlich entsprechend viele Touristen und Besucher aufhalten. Die Mäuse waren in auffälligen -weil selbstgehäkelt - 49er Dresses angezogen, in rot-gelb mit weißer Aufschrift „49“. Zwei der drei Bären tragen bunte gehäkelte Kleider wie auf dem Bild sichtbar.  Der dritte Bär trägt ein 49er Kleid in rot-gelb mit weißer Aufschrift, so wie die Mäuse. Alle tragen sie Namensketten um den Hals: Fridolin, Maureen, Bonnie, Clyde, McBeal, Sally und Nelly. Wie haben selbständig Flyer an den Bäumen auf dem Gateway Plaza  aufgehängt, da uns die dort ansässigen Geschäfte nicht weiterhelfen wollten. Wir hoffen so sehr, unsere Freunde wiederzusehen, bitte helft uns bei der Suche.

The four mice Fridolin, Maureen, Bonnie and Clyde and the three bears Sally, McBeal and Nelly were stolen, while we were in holidays in Vallejo, California. We were eating at the restaurant Red Lobster, in the Admiral Callaghan Lane in Vallejo, next to the Gateway Plaza, while the thief broke our car and stole a grey bagpack with the plushies inside. In Vallejo there is the Six Flags Park „Discovery Kingdom“, thats why it is a dangerous area concerning car break-ins. A lot of fluctuation is encouraging the thiefs to keep eyes on innocent visitors. There are a lot of break-ins in that area and nobody is caring. Not even the police is coming, after you call them. The mice are wearing red-yellow 49er dresses, handcrafted with „49“ in front in white colour. Even one teddybear is wearing a dress in 49er colours. The two other bears are wearing colourful dresses. All of them are also wearing necklaces with their names: Fridolin, Maureen, Bonnie, Clyde, Sally, Nelly and McBeal. Because nobody was caring about our problem, we posted two days after the break-in flyers on the trees around that Gateway Plaza, but probably those are already removed. Whereever you go and watch carefully the parking lots, you will see broken glass everywhere. We went several times back to the place and were looking behind bushes, in the sideways, behind stores, in the  rubbish, along the streets, we went by car and we went by foot, but we couldnt find anything. We don‘t know whether the thief was there by car or by foot, so the thief could have thrown the bag even around Vallejo. It was all we could do while we were there. Now we returned back home without our friends and we are so sad about this. But we won‘t give up hope, maybe the thief was throwing the bag after he realized, that there were only fluffies inside?!
